At Everett Custom Homes, building isn’t just a profession — it’s a family tradition.

Founder Eric Brown named the company after two of the most important men in his life: his father and his son — both named Everett. That generational tie isn’t just in the name. It’s in the way every home is built — with care, precision, and the belief that if you’re going to do something, you do it right.

Eric grew up watching his grandfather work as a carpenter — measuring twice, cutting once, and never taking shortcuts. That early exposure to craftsmanship instilled in him a respect for materials, a reverence for details, and a commitment to excellence that continues today.

After earning a degree in architectural design from the University of Minnesota, Eric spent over a decade in the corporate world, working at the world’s leading bike design company, Trek. There, he learned about quality assurance, client service, and the power of thoughtful design. Then he returned to his roots — launching Everett Custom Homes to build something of his own.

Since then, Eric has built homes across the Charlotte metro area that reflect the values he grew up with: honesty, integrity, and unmatched craftsmanship. Whether it’s a custom new build, a barndominium on the lake, or a historic renovation in Dilworth, Everett Custom Homes creates timeless spaces designed to serve families for generations.

Everett Custom Homes has been building in the Charlotte metro since 2006.

What we believe

Four beliefs

Every detail matters

From framing to finishes, quality is never compromised.

Client relationships come first

We listen, communicate, and collaborate every step of the way.

Homes should feel personal

No two clients are the same, and no two homes should be either.

Legacy is built

What we build today should still make sense 50 years from now.
